CSI Activities

About CSI:

Formed in 1965, the CSI has been instrumental in guiding the Indian IT industry down the right path since its formative years. Today, the CSI has 72 chapters all over India, 511 student branches, and more than 100000 members including India’s most famous IT industry leaders, brilliant scientists and academicians.

The mission of the CSI is to facilitate research, knowledge sharing, learning and career enhancement for all categories of IT professionals, while simultaneously inspiring and nurturing new entrants into the industry and helping them to integrate into the IT community. The CSI is also working closely with other industry associations, government bodies and academia to ensure that the benefits of IT advancement ultimately percolate down to every single citizen of India.

Preference is given to CSI members. Members whose papers are selected for presentation in leading International conferences can approach CSI for travel support to attend such conferences.

7. Concession for IEEE :
   Concession for IEEE For becoming member of IEEE(CS), you will get 20% discount in membership fee CSI members can pay their IEEE-CS fees in US$ drawn on US Bank account in favor of IEEE CS payable at USA to CSI. CSI in turn will remit to IEEE CS. The above discount is over and above all other discounts offered by IEEE CS to its members. Similar discount is also planned for IEEE Education Programme.
8. CSI Examinations/Certifications/ Finishing School:
   CSI Examinations/Certifications/ Finishing School Vital Score CSI examinations conducted by HQ Certification, a benefit for getting job
9. Regional and national levels:
   Young IT Professional Awards programme conducted at regional and national levels.

    CSI members can apply for CICC training courses conducted at Japan.

CSI in MLRIT:

Our college is an educational institutional member of computer society of India(CSI) from 2010. Our college has a student chapter which is getting renewed with more than 100 students in Hyderabad region. Many of our faculties are the life time members of CSI.

CSI Golden Jubilee Annual Student Convention 2K16 was a state level technical event conducted conjointly with Zavatra, supported by Computer Society of India (CSI) to bring together, practitioners from academia from all over state to take part in technical events, non-technical events and share their knowledge in the form of paper presentations and showcase their skills.

The chief guests for the inaugural session were Sri. R.
