COE Matlab has conducted a 3 day Faculty development program (FDP) on Hardware connectivity with MATLAB and Simulation during 27-29 May 2019. 20 Faculty members of MLR Institute of Technology, 5 faculty members of MLRITM and 3 faculty members of BVRIT attended the FDP. COE for MAT Lab has conducted a workshop on “Hardware Implementation with MAT LAB” on 16th of December 2017. Fifteen faculty members of ECE, MLRIT have participated in it. The resource person was: J. Prem Kumar, Product Manager, Capricot Technologies Pvt. Ltd., Hyderabad.
COE for Cadence, Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, MLRIT has conducted a Two day workshop on “Cadence Tools” on 11th and 12th December, 2017. Twenty faculty members of ECE, MLRIT have attended the workshop. On these two days theoretical and practical sessions on “Custom IC design flow and ASIC design flow” were conducted by Mr. Sharth Kanth, Senior support engineer, ENTUPLE Technology, Bangalore.
COE for Embedded and Robotics, MLRIT has conducted an FDP on “Real Time Embedded systems (FPGA Boards) & IoT and its applications” from 5th Dec’2017 to 8th Dec’2017. Faculty and students of MLRIT and Faculty of MLRITM have attended the workshop.
A three day workshop had been conducted on “Digital Image Processing using NI Vision System (software & Hardware)” from 28th June to 30th June 2017. Twenty members of various Engineering College faculties had been trained by Mr. Vasanth Kumar V & Mr. Suresh, Senior Application Engineers, VI Solutions, Bangalore.
Under IETE student Forum a three day workshop was conducted on “Microprocessors and Microcontrollers” from 3rd May to 6th May 2017. Nine faculty members of MLRIT and & Seven faculty members of MLRITM have participated in this FDP. The resource person was Mr. Kiran Kumar, Co-founder, Professional Advanced Electronics-Hyderabad.
Under ISTE Faculty Chapter a three day workshop was conducted on “Analog & Digital Communications” from 15th May 2017 to 17th May 2017. Twenty members of MLRIT and MLRITM faculty have been trained by Dr. B. Sridhar, Professor, ECE, MLRIT.
Under IETE student Forum a three day workshop was conducted on “PCB Design” from 11th May 2017 to 13th May 2017. Sixteen faulty members of MLRIT and seven faculty members of MLRITM had been trained on PCB design by: Dr. Mahendra V, Professor, ECE, MLRIT, Mr. Naga Raju, Asst. Professor, ECE, MLRIT, Mr. E. Amareswar, Asst. Professor, ECE, MLRIT and Mr. Raju Naik, Asst. Professor, ECE, MLRIT.
Under ISTE Faculty Chapter a three day workshop was conducted on “Digital Signal Processors ” from 5th May 2017 to 8th May 2017. Twenty Seven (27) faculty members have attended the FDP. (10 from MLRITM, 4 from IARE and 13 MLRIT Faculty). They had been trained by: 1) Shaik Rizzu Hussain, Field Engineer ,Ascentronics Pvt. NITTTR (National Institute of Technical Teachers’ Training and Research) had conducted an FDP on”Instructional Design and Delivery System” from 2nd July 2018 to 7th July 2018.
Under IETE student Forum a three day workshop was conducted on “Embedded System Design using AVR Microcontrollers” from 17 April 2017 to 22 April 2017. Seventeen members of ECE faculty were trained by Mr. Sarath Kumar, Robo Labs Pvt. Ltd, Pune.
A guest lecture was conducted on 17th April, 2017 on the topics: Controls, Robotics and Mechatronics. And the guest lecturers were: 1) Mr. Yona Baskharoun, Regional Manager-South Asia & MEA at Quanser. 2) Mr. Visweswaran Jagadeesan, Sr. Academic Technical consultant, NI, Bangalore.
A Faculty Development Program was conducted on “Analog and Digital IC design using Cadence” on 8th and 9th March 2017 under IETE. Thirty faculty members from various Engineering colleges were trained by : 1. Mr. BinuAlias, Application Engineer, Entuple Technologies, Bangalore. 2. Mr. Anuraj, Application Engineer, Entuple Technologies, Bangalore. 3. Mr. Bharanidharan, Application Engineer, Entuple Technologies, Bangalore. 4. Dr. P. Chandrashekar, Professor, MLRIT, Hyderabad.
Mr. E. Amareswar, Asst. Professor and Mr. P. Hari Babu, Asst. Professor had attended workshop on 28th February, 2017 at National Remote Sensing Centre, Balanagar, Hyderabad, on the occasion of Science Day organized by Indian Society of Remote Sensing (ISRS) Hyderabad Chapter.
A Faculty Development Program was conducted on “Virtual Instrumentation using LabVIEW” during 21-22 October 2016 in association with ISTE. A one day Faculty Development Program was conducted on “Matlab interfacing with Arduino and Raspberry -Pi” on 23-11-2016 by Mr J PremKumar, Product Manager, Mathworks, Hyderabad.
